6 different Avalanche players score a goal in a 6-2 win against Coyotes

GLENDALE, Arizona (KDVR) – Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog finished third on the all-time list for goals in defeating the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night with Peter Forsberg.

Nathan MacKinnon scored a goal for the Avs in the first half at 12:16 pm with a wrist shot from the near side that hit the post and kicked. Andre Burakovsky scored his 200th point with a support for MacKinnon’s goal.

Jacob MacDonald scored his second career goal less than three minutes ahead in the second half to take the lead for the Avalanche.

Landeskog scored his 202nd goal in a power game at the beginning of the third half. Joonas Donskoi scored his sixth goal while Tyson Jost and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare both scored their first goals of the season.

Clayton Keller tied it for the coyotes in the first and Ilya Lyubushkin added another in the third.

Phillip Grubauer made 23 saves, while the Avalanche scored 41 shots on goal in a 6-2 win.
