Bitcoin cost started with a slight change in potential profit over the USD 47,000 zone. BTC passed the $ 47,500 mark but failed to clear $ 48,000. It is currently solidifying near $ 47,400 (04:27 UTC) and risks further declines below $ 46,500. In addition, most of the major altcoins encounter obstacles. ETH faces resistance near the USD 3,800 mark. XRP could move back into the $ 0.80 help zone. ADA is struggling to stay above $ 1.35.
On the downside, the price may encounter resistance near the $ 47,500 level. The next barrier is now forming near the USD 48,000 mark.
Bitcoin price
After a slight recovery wave, Bitcoin price encountered resistance near the USD 48,000 zone. BTC failed to rise any further and fell below $ 47,500. The price even traded below $ 47,000 before recovering. The next big support is near $ 45,500, below which the bulls may struggle in the short term.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price also attempted a recovery wave above the $ 3,700 level. ETH topped the $ 3,750 level but there was no move above the $ 3,800 level. It is now trading above $ 3,760 and if there are additional losses the price could test $ 3,650. The next major support is near the $ 3,550 level.
ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE and XRP prices
Cardano (ADA) surged above the $ 1,365 mark. However, it encountered resistance near the $ 1.38 level and there was a bearish reaction. The price is now trading near the $ 1.35 level with key support near the $ 1.32 level.
On the flip side, initial resistance is near $ 3,780. The next major resistance is near the $ 3,800 level above which the price could test $ 3,880.
The Binance Coin (BNB) failed to gain momentum above the USD 525 resistance. It’s in bearish trading near $ 510. The main support is near the USD 500 handle, below which there is a risk of a larger decline in the upcoming sessions.
Solana (SOL) tried to rebound above the USD 175 level but there was no continuation of the uptrend. The price is trading near the $ 170 USD and there could be a move towards the USD 165 level.
DOGE is consolidating near the USD 0.172 support zone. The next big support is at $ 0.170. Other drawbacks could push the price towards $ 0.165. The XRP price failed to gain strength above the $ 0.85 level. It is now trading near the $ 0.840 level. If there is another bearish reaction, the price could test the $ 0.80 level.
Different Altcoins Market Today
Many altcoins are up over 8%, including ATOM, CEL, AAVE, SUSHI, CRV, ROSE, ALGO, and CELO. Of these, ATOM gained almost 13%, surpassing the USD 30 level. Meanwhile, LUNA reduced its weekly losses to less than 7% by increasing 6% in one day and hitting the $ 87 level. Overall, Bitcoin price is struggling to overcome the $ 48,000 resistance. If BTC doesn’t stay above $ 46,500, it could move towards $ 45,500.
