Wolfe was the second best victorious soccer coach in NEO history with an overall record of 109-19-3. From 1978 to 90 he was the head coach of the Golden Norseman and won the national titles of the NJCAA in 1980 (10-0) and 1986 (11-0).
The legendary trainer SA Red Robertson set a career record of 162-49-7 at NEO from 1942 to 1966.
“It’s quite a feast considering he was the second-winning coach in one of the most prestigious junior college programs in the country,” said Dale Patterson, NEO sports director and former Wolfe assistant coach (1981-89). “You also have to consider how many children he has been able to support throughout his coaching career is just phenomenal.”
