Former NEO soccer coach Glen Wolfe has died | College football

Former Northeastern A&M College football coach, Glen Wolfe, 75, passed away Tuesday morning after a long illness at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas.

He leaves behind his wife, Elaine, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and sons Greg and Mike.

The tour is on Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Stockdale Funeral Home, 2898 West Walnut, Rogers.

The funeral will take place on Monday, October 5th at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Tishomingo.

A Hall of Fame member of the National Junior College Football Coaches Association and the Northeastern A&M College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Wolfe was the second best victorious soccer coach in NEO history with an overall record of 109-19-3. From 1978 to 90 he was the head coach of the Golden Norseman and won the national titles of the NJCAA in 1980 (10-0) and 1986 (11-0).

The legendary trainer SA Red Robertson set a career record of 162-49-7 at NEO from 1942 to 1966.

“It’s quite a feast considering he was the second-winning coach in one of the most prestigious junior college programs in the country,” said Dale Patterson, NEO sports director and former Wolfe assistant coach (1981-89). “You also have to consider how many children he has been able to support throughout his coaching career is just phenomenal.”
