How to join Eden on EOS – Bywire Blockchain News

LONDON (Bywire News) – One of the great things about the EOS blockchain is its incredible versatility. Rather than the simple exchange of tokens, it has developed a host of applications and services that deliver innovative voting solutions which offer a glimpse at an exciting vision of how democratic, decentralized organizations can be run.

The most compelling of these platforms is EOS. This democratic platform allows anyone to participate in discussions about the world of EOS, propose solutions, vote and get funds to support their projects. With more than 170,000 EOS to play with, it has plenty of capital to distribute to those proposals that its members decide to support. But it’s the platform’s voting system which is attracting the most attention.

Since it is a voting platform, users need to be registered and verified. The procedure relies on other members knowing the new members which means each of the 400 people who participate in this platform have their identities 100% verified.

To register on the platform you can go to Eden’s website, and click on the membership button. A screen will open up offering various steps to follow. Obviously, everything here will have to be linked to your existing EOS account.

Those who are already members can create an invitation for a person and send it to the person they would like to bring into the community. Alternatively, if you’re looking to be invited you need to create a welcome post on the relevant forum with information about you, why you want to be a part of Eden and wait to receive an invitation.

Once sent, you will have to follow the instructions, and create your profile with your name, image, biography and details of other social networks making it possible for you to be traced and contacted.

Once this introductory phase has been completed, you will need to donate 10 EOS to Eden as a registration fee. After that, you will create an NFT of your registration which will allow you to participate in all upcoming elections and events.

Now couldn’t be a better time to sign up. The third election for the chief delegates is scheduled for this Sunday, July 9th. This will be a significant point in the development of Eden and will see a new set of chief delegates elected. To participate in the election, all you have to do is go to the ‘election’ item and click ‘Join Eden to participate’. You will obviously need to be an Eden member before you can do this and connect with your wallet.

Once that has been done, you have a chance to participate in Eden’s revolutionary process of fractal democracy which sees everyone divided into groups of five. Each group will vote for a single representative who will advance to the next round. The process will then be repeated until the final five chief delegates are left.

It is a revolutionary process which could provide a template for companies and other organizations to elect their leadership teams. Already it has been run twice highly successfully, but for it to continue to work as well as it has, it needs people to get involved.

So, whatever your role in Eden, if you want to get involved, mark the date, July 9th and head to https://genesis.eden.eoscommunity.org/
