How to unlock Boss Noises and get secret reports in NEO: TWEWY

When you finish the main story, two new social network nodes will be unlocked: Joshua Kiryu’s and Hazuki Mikagi’s. The hardest secret report in the game. This requires 100% social completion, but to get it you will need to do Rhymes extra challenging dive trip on another day. This one is tough and you have to get the gold crown to get the rest of the friendship points. That means you can’t just keep playing it as this will only give you the bronze crown. You need to grind a little to stand a chance, so we recommend trying this after defeating all of the boss sounds. She can be found in Dogenzaka once the main quest of the day has started.

NEO: The world ends with your secret ending

In fact, there are two “secret endings” in NEO: The World Ends With You.

1.) After getting all of the Secret Reports, just run the Final Day again (yes, you have to go through the entire replay setup). After the credits, you get a scene between two interesting characters.

2.) To get the standard epilogue ending, all you need to do in the epilogue chapter of Another Day is defeat three re-visited bosses, followed by a final encounter by speaking to Hishima at the Hachiko statue. They will come to a quick end when Rindo and his company attend a concert.

However, there is also a secret ending if you complete all of the bonus objectives during the chapter in addition to the bosses required.

• Find and defeat all 5 Pig Noise in the chapter “Another Day”.
• Find Rhyme in Dogenzaka and complete a diving challenge with 10 reductions.
• Find Coco on Takeshita Street to do a Boss Rush time trial.
• Find Minimimoto in the Expressway Underpass to fight the game’s secret boss.

Doing these things (all in one go) will give you an extra ending after the credits. This is a short step that may tease some character motivation in a possible later follow-up.
