As the name suggests, Aqua Terra is all about versatility. An OMEGA watch for adventurous people who feel just as comfortable in the city center as they are in the middle of the sea.
In keeping with the lifestyle of its future wearers, the Swiss brand has broken into exciting new territory with the Aqua Terra and introduced a second hand for the first time. The 2021 collection consists of ten 38 mm models, two of which are luxury editions; as well as nine new 41 mm models, including four luxury versions.
Small seconds and other big changes
The outstanding feature of all new models is a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock, surrounded by an applied sub-dial ring: many made of 18-carat Sedna ™ gold – some even set with diamonds.
The collection includes new dials in subtle sunburst tones and two-tone teak patterns with eye-catching hour markers, including diamonds that are incrementally arranged from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. and sailboat-shaped indexes with iridescent mother-of-pearl inlays.
To attach the new watches firmly to the wrist, there are bracelets in matching metals, rubber straps in beige and blue – and leather straps in red, burgundy, beige and green.
Of the four powerful movements that drive the Small Seconds watches, there are two luxury calibers (8803/8917), each characterized by a rotor and a balance bridge made of 18-carat Sedna ™ gold.
38 mm
At the sportier end of the 38mm spectrum are eight watches made of stainless steel or a mix of steel and 18k Sedna ™ gold, powered by OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8802, with new dials in dark green, light green, linen and extra white mother-of-pearl. The latest 38 mm OMEGA Sport matching bracelets or beautiful colored leather bracelets, depending on the model.

For luxury lovers, there are also two models made of 18 K Sedna ™ gold with diamond-set bezels, which are driven by OMEGA’s exquisite Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8803 with a rotor and balance bridge made of 18 K Sedna ™ gold. Fans can choose between an Aqua Terra with a purple jade dial and bracelet made of 18-carat Sedna ™ gold or a model with an extra white mother-of-pearl dial and red leather strap.

41 mm
The 41mm range includes four stainless steel editions and one in stainless steel and 18k Sedna ™ gold, all powered by OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8916. Two-tone dials in blue gray, silver blue and silver beige, add depth to the displays and contrast nicely with the new sub-dials. The watches are equipped with either a matching strap or an integrated structured rubber strap in a complementary color.

The larger editions also include four models in 18-carat Sedna ™ gold, all of which are powered by a movement that is just as luxurious as the exterior of the watch: OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8917. Aqua Terra lovers can choose between a two-tone blue-gray dial choose, or a two-tone, silvery-beige dial. Both options are optionally available with a matching bracelet or an integrated rubber bracelet.

Aqua Terra owners can not only look forward to a new way of recording seconds, but can also be sure that their new OMEGA will work perfectly at any time of the day. Each watch comes with a 5-year guarantee and a Master Chronometer certification card, which ensures that the watch has passed the tests certified by the Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
