What is Ripple XRP?
Ripple (ticker symbol XRP) is an early generation cryptocurrency platform launched in 2012. The crypto asset Ripple is heavily traded and very popular, so it is supported by several of the best online sports betting.
In fact, XRP works just like all legitimate cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, USD Coin, Chainlink, Stellar, etc. That is, it works with an open ledger blockchain protocol that makes transactions transparent and immutable.
Ripple price hit its all-time high (ATH) of $ 3.40 per coin in January 2018, but has fallen significantly since then. Ripple price is hovering around $ 0.55 to $ 0.60 today and there is some uncertainty about the asset due to an ongoing SEC lawsuit.
That status didn’t detract from Ripple’s value, though, despite the fact that it caused some major exchanges – namely Coinbase and Bittrex – to remove the coin from the list. This can make things difficult for XRP gambling enthusiasts looking to bet sports with Ripple, but XRP gambling sites continue to support the asset.
