The Cardano Foundation appoints Alix Park to lead global community expansion

The Cardano Foundation, an independent body based in Zug, Switzerland that has primary responsibility for overseeing and overseeing the development of the 3rd generation blockchain protocol Cardano (ADA), announced today that it is expanding its global growth efforts by appointing from Alix Hyeowon Park to the new Community Lead, effective immediately.

In her new role in Seoul, South Korea, Alix will focus on developing and implementing a new community management strategy to support and educate the global community.

One of her immediate priorities is strengthening community with the next phase of the Cardano Ambassador program. In cooperation with the strategic partners IOHK and EMURGO, she will advise the Board of Trustees on scaling the global Cardano community.

Prior to joining the Cardano Foundation, Alix was Chief Marketing Officer at Coinone, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea. Previously, she worked as a marketing strategist at large multinational organizations such as EY (Ernst & Young), Motorola, Samsung Electronics and Korean Air. Alix is ​​from the South Korean capital and has built a strong presence in the startup space of IGAworks, one of the leading mobile advertising technology startups in the country. She also ran her own business to help startups grow and scale in Southeast Asia.

Alix holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University (USA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, French Language and Literature from Sogang University (South Korea).
